Lexus NX 300 TPMS Description
The 2021 Lexus NX 300 tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) uses sensors to monitor the air pressure in each tire and alerts the driver if the pressure drops below the recommended level. The light on the dashboard that displays the TPMS warning is usually a tire pressure symbol with an exclamation mark.
When the tire pressure drops, the TPMS sensors will send a signal to the vehicle’s onboard computer, which will then illuminate the warning light. The driver should check the air pressure in each tire and inflate them to the recommended level, which can be found in the owner’s manual or on the tire information placard located on the driver’s side door jamb.
It’s important to regularly check the tire pressure and keep it at the recommended level to ensure the best tire performance and fuel efficiency. Over or under-inflated tires can also lead to uneven wear and increase the risk of a blowout.
In summary, the 2021 Lexus NX 300 TPMS alerts the driver if the tire pressure drops below the recommended level, and the driver should check the air pressure and inflate the tires as needed to maintain safe and optimal tire performance.
